Joan Krakowsky is an experienced research scientist and project manager with many years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology from Boston College and a doctorate in Biomedical Sciences from Wright State University Medical School. Joan worked at Sanofi-Aventis (and predecessors) for 18 years, starting as a bench scientist in Discovery Research, then managing research teams in Discovery and Preclinical Research and moved into project and contract management of large-scale global projects. More recently, Joan was the Associate Director of Business Development at Taconic Biosciences CRO where she led efforts to improve the efficiency of securing and tracking new contracts. She joined CHDI Foundation in 2013 as Project Manager in Clinical Research.
